I have a derby crush on L.A Gunns of Terminal City’s Bad Reputations, also London Rollergirl’s Ninjette, Rat City’s Re-AnimateHer, and of course all of my derby wives.
What’s the best boutfit you’ve seen?
Rubber, baby. That would have been Re-AnimateHer
How did you hear about roller derby?
I had heard about it about 3 or 4 years earlier but couldn’t get involved at that time. When I moved to Nottingham I had a look around and found the Harlots looking for Fresh Meat. BAM.
What’s your derby dream? Right now I am looking to come back after my “9 month injury” and get seriously badass. And become an awesome jammer too. And then take on the world with the Harlots.
What’s your favourite drill at training? Anything endurance and speed related, but I also love anything really tactical too. And stepping. It’s all about the stepping.
What’s the best thing about being in a roller derby team?
Playing Roller Derby. But also, it’s the derby family. I have never known anything like it. If you play derby, you will know what I mean. Them’s my bitches….
